Did I tell you how much I love things that are functional, as well as being artful? That's how I came to make Jewelry That Works. These Pins and Necklaces do double duty holding your eyeglasses, sunglasses, or ID Badge. And when they aren't performing one of those tasks, they still look artful and are truly unique.

EARRINGS
Everyone loves earrings and every jeweler makes them. So I wanted to do something different. Many of my current earrings are reversible or have removable & reversible dangles so that you can create whatever look suits you best.
You're not buying a pair of earrings - you're buying 2 or 3 and maybe more.

Brooches Back in my previous life - before I became an artist - I wore brooches almost every day. They are a great way to make a traditional suit or blazer more personal. And they give one the opportunity to make a creative statement and to impart their own style on a conservative wardrobe.
The first female US Secretary of State, Madeleine Albright, was an avid collector and wearer of brooches. She used them to make political statement and as a gauge of her true feelings, often telling journalists to "read my pins.'' Maybe our new Secretary will follow in her footsteps....hmmm.
Most of my brooches are one-of-a-kind, but each Christmas season I make a Ltd. Edition of themed pins that I sell at my one big show - The Vermont Hand Crafters FIne Craft & Art Show held in Burlington, VT. Snowflakes are typically the theme and I have done a few different versions over the years.

I also produce a line of brooches, under the Studio name of VT Hearts & Crafts, as fundraisers for various organizations. My work has benefited Breast Cancer Research, Vermont Children’s Trust Foundation, National Coalition Against Domestic Violence, and The American Red Cross.
